Tri-State Athletic Club has the only year-round, indoor-outdoor pool in Evansville, Indiana. Our clean, well-maintained pools feature six 25-meter lanes each, plus a separate 12 ft. deep well. We also offer a baby pool with 1 and 2 ft. sections, separated by a wall to protect your smallest swimmers. Each of our very large pools are easily accessible and offer safe, easy entry and exit! Friendly lifeguards are always on duty, supervising our pools to ensure your safety!
Our pools are available for lap swim and family swim, as well social events, with plenty of space for birthday parties and seasonal celebrations. Summer Swim Team
Join our summer swim team, coached by Rickey Perkins! Rickey is the Head Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Coach at the University of Evansville.
The season runs May 29th through July 16th.
Pre-Season Practice: May 21st and 23rd from 4pm - 5 pm
Practices: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
7 and older: 8:00am - 9:15am
6 and under: 9:15am - 10:00am
Optional Practices: Monday and Wednesday 3pm - 4pm (during regular season)
*We will have a Wednesday practice on May 30th, due to no meets.

During his sixteen seasons at UE, Rickey Perkins has been voted Women’s Swim Coach of the Year four times and Men’s Swim Coach of the Year once. Rickey has produced 48 all-conference honors, 62 scholar-athletes and four CoSIDA/ESPN Academic All-American selections. His teams have broken over 30 UE school records and have won 10 individual MVC titles and 2 MVC relay titles. Academically, the squad has been honored with 4 CoSIDA Academic All-Americans and 2 Elite 18 winners (an award that is given out to the individual with the highest GPA and highest finish at a MVC championship). The women’s team GPA has been ranked as high as number two in the nation by the College Swim Coaches Association.
Originally from Midland, Texas, Perkins earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education at the University of Alaska-Anchorage. He began his coaching career at the high school and club levels in Anchorage in 1989, and then took over the program at his alma mater in 1994. Under Perkins, Alaska-Anchorage improved from 24th to 13th in the NCAA Division II National Championship meet, and produced 16 All-Americans. Perkins also improved the team grade point average to better than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
